Allyson Rose is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor who first joined the Human Services field in 2007. Throughout her career, Allyson has remained inspired by those she meets in this work, and she feels honored to bear witness to their stories. She strives to foster a space that allows one to feel safe, valued, and empowered.
Allyson is a psychedelic-informed therapist and offers integrative therapy sessions to those receiving ketamine treatment. She is also certified in Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy (PSIP), a powerful body-focused intervention that helps alleviate emotional distress and provides an opportunity to feel more connected to the world. PSIP is often assisted with cannabis and/or ketamine, as inducing a non-ordinary state of consciousness in the presence of a trusted facilitator can help one tap into their body’s innate and profoundly intelligent healing mechanisms. Allyson first encountered PSIP as a part of her personal healing and the results were so transformative, she became a certified PSIP practitioner so she could offer this support to others. To learn more about PSIP, please visit the Psychedelic Somatic Institute’s website: https://www.psychedelicsomatic.org/
In her free time, Allyson enjoys reading, sketching, painting, cheering for the MN Lynx, spending time with her beloved family, and advocating for social justice causes that promote accessibility, equity, and justice.
