Welcome to IIT

Welcome to IIT and thank you for allowing us to be part of your healing process. As you get ready to start your process, feel free to explore our guides to each step of the journey. 

Safety at IIT

Safety is our top priority, and we will work with you to ensure that KAP is a safe approach for you. In general, Ketamine is a very safe substance and recognized by the WHO as an essential medicine. Despite its safety profile, some mental health and medical conditions may rule someone out for treatment. During the assessment phase, we will determine if it’s a safe treatment for you.

Questions to Ask Your Doctor

Please bring any questions you have to your assessment visits. We will ask you about medications you’re taking and any past mental health and medical diagnoses you have received. We may request additional information as needed. 

Coordinating Care and Sharing Documentation

If you have an ongoing therapist, psychiatrist or physician, it is helpful for us to be able to coordinate with your providers. Sometimes it’s helpful to ask your existing providers to complete a Release of Information so that we can communicate. Otherwise you can complete an ROI with us at the time of your intake.

Psychological and Physical Assessment

You will meet with your individual therapist for a mental health (diagnostic) evaluation to establish a mental health diagnosis. You will then meet with Dr. Doss for a medical exam. These processes ensure that KAP is safe both psychologically and physiologically.
